Interview mit Kenneth Danielsen

The Supremesurf Big Days are a well-known standby contest for the german windsurfers. But this year also some danish guys will join the Supremesurf Big Days. Kenneth Danielsen (RRD, Simmer Style, MFC, PLASMA Boardwear, Mystic, Aeron Rig Products) isn´t just ripping the conditions on the northsea. Sailnumber D-38 also joined the PWA worldtour in his first year…

1. Your first year on the PWA tour is over. What are your impressions?

- For me it has always been a dream to compete on the PWA world tour. So I’m really happy to finally be in a position where I’m able to compete on that level. I’ve competed at 3 world cups this year and its been a really good experience.

2. Why are you joining the Supremesurf Big Days?

- Well, it actually was my good friend and PLASMA sponsor Robert Sand that told me about the contest. And I thought it sounds like a really cool concept, so I decided to join together with Robert.

3. Have you ever been surfing on the baltic sea?

- No its going to be the first time for me on the baltic sea. So I am really looking forward to try a new spot and some different conditions than what I’m used to.

4. Are you an aspirant for victory at the Supreme Surf Big Days?

- I definetely think I have a chance to win but I know there are some really good guys entering the contest, so I have to sail my best and don’t make any mistakes to have a chance.

5. Who will be in the final of the Supremesurf Big Days?

- There are many really good guys entering the contest so its hard to say, but for sure guys like Philip Köster, Klass Voget, Lars Gobisch, Florian Jung, Robert Sand and hopefully my self will end up in the finals.
